Weddings
Every ritual, every vendor, every hour — held by one team.
Overview
An Indian wedding is rarely one event. It is a roka, a mehendi, a sangeet, a haldi, the pheras and a reception, often spread across three days and two venues, with family flying in from four cities. We plan the whole arc as a single production: one budget, one vendor roster and one master timeline that the pandit-ji, the caterer and the cousin in charge of the baraat all work from.
From our Dehradun office we have planned weddings in the Doon valley, the hills and the plains, so we know which muhurat clashes with a 4 pm hill fog, how long a baraat takes to cover a kilometre of city road, and which florist can deliver 400 kilos of marigold by dawn. You make the decisions that matter to your families; we carry everything else.
What's included
A line-item budget split across venue, décor, catering, entertainment and contingency, tracked weekly against actual quotes.
Shortlisting, site visits and negotiation on rates, room blocks, sound curfews and décor restrictions before you sign.
Vetted décor, catering, photography, makeup and entertainment partners, briefed and managed on one contract calendar.
Working with your family pandit to fix muhurat timings and build every ceremony's samagri, seating and sequence into the schedule.
A minute-by-minute plan for each function, shared with every vendor and family lead two weeks before the wedding.
A lead planner and 8-20 coordinators on each day, handling vendors, guests, cues and whatever goes sideways.
The process
We meet both families, understand the traditions on each side, fix a guest count range and agree a working budget.
A venue shortlist, site visits and a design direction for each function, with a costed proposal you can compare line by line.
Contracts, tastings, trials and décor mock-ups, with a shared tracker showing what is confirmed and what is still pending.
Run-sheets, guest movement plans, vendor call times and a full walk-through at the venue with family leads.
Our team runs every function on the ground, from the first haldi setup to the last vidaai car leaving the gate.
Options
Indicative starting prices. Your final quote depends on guest count, venue and the details you choose.

For a winter wedding in Dehradun, eight to ten months is comfortable, because peak muhurat dates in November, December and February fill venues first. We have planned weddings in ten weeks, but venue and décor choices narrow quickly after that.
Yes. We brief your pandit on timings, samagri and mandap layout, and fold any vendors you have booked into the run-sheet. We only ask for a coordination call with each of them before the final fortnight.
Every outdoor function has a weather plan signed off in advance: a covered backup space, a hangar tent on standby or a revised timing. In the Doon valley, monsoon and late-February showers are real, so we price the backup in rather than hoping.
Often. Garhwali-Punjabi, Marwari-Bengali and Kumaoni-Tamil weddings are all familiar to us, and the work is mostly in sequencing: which rituals run on which day, whose pandit leads the pheras, and how the menu honours both sides.
Client stories
My sangeet had 22 performances, a small army of cousins and one very nervous father. The Shrim team ran rehearsals to a proper timetable, did the sound check twice, and got the DJ to switch to old Kishore Kumar songs the moment the elders took the floor. It was the most fun night of the whole wedding.

Four hundred guests, two caterers and a baraat that arrived forty minutes late. Tushar handled it all calmly and kept the pheras on muhurat. The food was excellent and reached the last table hot. My only small complaint is that I would have liked the final invoice a little sooner. Otherwise, I could simply be a father that day.

We booked Shrim for our ring ceremony and ended up trusting them with everything after it. They found a photographer who caught my nani laughing mid-ceremony, organised a sunrise pre-wedding shoot near Sahastradhara, and kept both families on one shared plan. Having the same team from the ring to the vidaai made it all feel connected.
