Weddings
Your wedding in the hills, with the logistics already solved.
Overview
A destination wedding asks a different set of questions. How do 180 guests get from Jolly Grant airport to a resort 40 kilometres up a hill road? Where does the dhol team sleep? What does a February evening in Mussoorie feel like at 7 pm, and does the mandap need heaters? We are based in Dehradun, the gateway to Garhwal, and these are the questions we answer first.
We plan weddings across Uttarakhand — Mussoorie, Rishikesh, Jim Corbett, Nainital and Auli — and take families further to Udaipur, Jaipur and Goa. Travel desks, room allocation, local permissions and vendor transport are built into the plan from the first week, so your guests arrive rested and every function starts when the card says it will.
What's included
Recce visits to shortlisted hill, river and heritage properties, with notes on road access, room inventory and sound limits.
Flight and train tracking, pickups from Dehradun, Haridwar or Pantnagar, and tempo traveller schedules for hill roads.
Rooming lists, welcome hampers, itinerary cards and a hospitality desk staffed from first check-in to last checkout.
Event permissions, riverside or forest-edge approvals where required, and police and traffic intimation for the baraat.
A costed plan B for every outdoor function — covered backup spaces, heaters for hill evenings, rain-rated structures by the river.
Transport, stay and load-in schedules for décor, sound and catering crews working away from the city.
The process
We match your guest count, season and budget to two or three destinations and explain the trade-offs honestly.
Site visits with you or on video, followed by a venue contract covering room blocks, exclusivity and curfew timings.
Save-the-dates, RSVP tracking, travel manifests and room allocation, built in one shared sheet.
Décor, sound and catering crews scheduled for load-in, with materials trucked up before the hill roads get busy.
Our team moves in a day before guests arrive and runs the hospitality desk, every function and the departures.
Options
Indicative starting prices. Your final quote depends on guest count, venue and the details you choose.

Rishikesh and Jim Corbett are at their best from October to March; Mussoorie and Nainital work well from March to June and again in October and November. Auli is for couples who want snow in January or February and can accept a smaller guest list and tighter logistics.
Most guests take a morning train to Dehradun or fly into Jolly Grant, and we run pickups from there. For larger groups we also arrange coaches from Delhi NCR with a lunch halt, timed so nobody reaches the hill roads after dark.
Many do, typically 10 pm for outdoor music, and some riverside and forest-edge properties are stricter. We confirm curfews in the contract and move the sangeet or after-party indoors if the night needs to run late.
Per guest it usually costs more because of stays and travel, but guest lists tend to be shorter. Many families find that a 150-guest wedding in Mussoorie lands close to a 500-guest wedding at home.
Client stories
We had 160 guests flying in from Delhi and Mumbai, and fog closed in on the Mussoorie road the evening before our sangeet. Meher had already moved the shuttles to an earlier slot and dressed a covered terrace as backup. Nobody noticed a thing. Our families still talk about the bonfire night under the deodars.

We wanted a forest wedding without it feeling like a theme park, and Ananya understood that at our first meeting. The haldi was under a mango tree with sal leaves and marigolds, the mandap in soft ivory and brass. The team also dealt with the eco-zone rules on music and fireworks, so we never had to.

My sangeet had 22 performances, a small army of cousins and one very nervous father. The Shrim team ran rehearsals to a proper timetable, did the sound check twice, and got the DJ to switch to old Kishore Kumar songs the moment the elders took the floor. It was the most fun night of the whole wedding.
