The best private parties feel effortless to guests and are anything but for the host. Someone has to plan the bar, time the dinner, test the sound, light the terrace and make sure the evening winds down before the neighbours start calling. We take all of that on, so the host can stand with a drink and actually talk to the people they invited.
We plan cocktail evenings, rooftop nights, farmhouse parties, Diwali card parties and New Year's Eve dinners across Dehradun and Mussoorie. Each one gets a considered bar programme, a lighting plan, music chosen for the crowd and service staff trained to be present without hovering over your guests all evening long.

Private Parties: your questions
Do we need a permit to serve alcohol at home?
In Uttarakhand, a private party with alcohol at a non-licensed venue generally needs a temporary permit from the excise department, and the rules are revised from time to time. We check the current requirement for your venue and arrange the paperwork through the bar partner.
How late can a rooftop party go in Dehradun?
Amplified music outdoors is generally restricted after 10 pm under noise rules. We plan rooftop parties to move to lower-volume or indoor music by then, which also keeps the neighbours on side.
What bartender-to-guest ratio do you use?
For cocktail-led parties we plan one bartender for every 40-50 guests, plus a barback for larger events. For beer-and-wine evenings, one per 60-70 guests is usually enough.
Can you plan a Diwali card party?
Yes, and it is one of our favourite formats — card tables with proper lighting, a mithai and snack bar, dinner timed after the first rounds, and diyas and rangoli at the entrance.
