Welcome dinners
A relaxed first evening for arriving guests, with seating that mixes both families and a menu that sets the tone for the week.

Weddings
The evenings before the wedding, planned as carefully as the day.
Overview
The wedding day belongs to the rituals; the days before it belong to the guests. A welcome dinner is where the two sides meet properly, a cocktail night is where the friends take over, and a tilak or chunni ceremony keeps older customs in the calendar. We plan these as distinct events, each with its own venue, mood and menu, while keeping them in step with the wedding timeline.
We also plan pre-wedding shoots across Uttarakhand — Mussoorie's ridge roads at first light, the ghats at Rishikesh, the tea gardens on Dehradun's edge — and bachelor or bachelorette weekends in the hills, with stays, activities and transport arranged so the couple and their friends can simply show up and enjoy it.
What's included
A relaxed first evening for arriving guests, with seating that mixes both families and a menu that sets the tone for the week.
Bar programming, lounge seating, a DJ or live act and lighting designed for a late, social evening.
Traditional pre-wedding rituals with the right samagri, seating for elders and a pandit-led running order.
Location permissions, outfit changes, hair and makeup timing and golden-hour scheduling for shoots across Uttarakhand.
Stays, rafting, bonfires or café-hopping itineraries in Rishikesh, Mussoorie or Kanatal for the couple's friends.
Placing each pre-wedding event so guests rest, vendors reset and nothing competes with the main functions.
The process
We place each event in the wedding calendar and agree the guest list and purpose of each.
A separate mood, dress code and menu for every event, so the week feels varied rather than repeated.
Venues, bar, entertainment and shoot locations confirmed, with permissions sought where needed.
Our coordinators manage setup, guests and vendor cues on each evening, then hand over to the next day's team.
Options
Indicative starting prices. Your final quote depends on guest count, venue and the details you choose.

Most weddings we plan keep a welcome dinner and either a cocktail night or a sangeet, with tilak or chunni folded into a morning. We help you trim the calendar so guests are not attending five events in three days.
Some locations do — certain heritage sites, forest areas and stretches of the ghats require written permission or a fee, and drones need airspace clearance. We check each location in advance and build permissions into the shoot plan.
Outdoor music at most hill properties stops around 10 pm, so we usually move late evenings indoors or into an enclosed lounge. We confirm the curfew in writing before planning bar and DJ timings.
Yes. We plan standalone weekends in Rishikesh, Mussoorie, Kanatal or Jim Corbett with stays, activities and a local host, whether or not we are planning the wedding itself.
Client stories
We booked Shrim for our ring ceremony and ended up trusting them with everything after it. They found a photographer who caught my nani laughing mid-ceremony, organised a sunrise pre-wedding shoot near Sahastradhara, and kept both families on one shared plan. Having the same team from the ring to the vidaai made it all feel connected.

My sangeet had 22 performances, a small army of cousins and one very nervous father. The Shrim team ran rehearsals to a proper timetable, did the sound check twice, and got the DJ to switch to old Kishore Kumar songs the moment the elders took the floor. It was the most fun night of the whole wedding.

Four hundred guests, two caterers and a baraat that arrived forty minutes late. Tushar handled it all calmly and kept the pheras on muhurat. The food was excellent and reached the last table hot. My only small complaint is that I would have liked the final invoice a little sooner. Otherwise, I could simply be a father that day.
