Celebrations
Twenty-five or fifty years, told well.
Overview
Anniversary celebrations are often planned by children for their parents, and the brief is usually the same: make it about them, not about us. A twenty-fifth might be a party for 150 with the old wedding songs; a fiftieth might be a lunch for three generations and a renewal of the pheras. We listen for the story — how they met, where they lived, what they still argue about — and design around it.
We plan anniversaries in Dehradun's banquet halls, garden venues and family homes, and in the hills for couples who want to return to where they honeymooned. Photo walls from old albums, a video of messages from relatives abroad, a menu that recreates the wedding dinner — these are the details families talk about for years afterwards.
What's included
Décor built from old photographs, wedding cards and keepsakes, with a timeline or memory wall at the entrance.
A pandit-led or informal renewal of vows, with a small mandap or floral arch and a moment for the family.
Speeches, a video of messages from relatives and performances by children and grandchildren, scripted and timed.
A menu that revisits dishes from the original wedding or the couple's home kitchen.
A live singer or band playing the songs from the couple's early years, from old Hindi film classics to ghazals.
A private dinner or weekend in Mussoorie, Nainital or Rishikesh for couples who prefer to celebrate quietly.
The process
We speak with the children or the couple to collect photos, memories, songs and names.
Format, guest list and venue decided, with a programme that builds to a single central moment.
Memory walls, video, menu and music prepared, with rehearsals for family performances.
Our team runs the evening while the family stays with the couple.
Options
Indicative starting prices. Your final quote depends on guest count, venue and the details you choose.

We build the programme around one or two central moments — a vow renewal, a tribute video, a first dance to an old song — and keep everything else light. Fewer speeches, more time for the couple to sit with their guests.
Yes. With old photographs and the wedding card, we can echo the colours, the flowers and even the menu of the original day. Some families have brought back the same shehnai tune or asked the same family pandit to officiate.
It can be. Some couples prefer a short pandit-led ceremony with pheras or a havan, while others want an informal exchange of words in front of family. We plan either, respectfully.
Six to eight weeks gives time to collect photos and videos from relatives, particularly those living abroad. The party itself can be planned faster; the memory content is what needs time.
Client stories
Our children planned this as a surprise with Meher's help. They recreated our wedding mandap in the garden, brought in folk singers for the Garhwali mangal geet we had at our wedding, and served the same menu from that day. When the photographs from our wedding appeared on the wall, neither of us could speak.
Sunita & Harish Uniyal25th Anniversary, Dehradun
I was seven months along and in no mood to manage anything. Ananya put together a soft sage-and-cream godh bharai at home, with a comfortable seat for me, ginger tea for the aunties and games that even my shy in-laws joined. Everything was cleared by evening. I just had to show up and be spoilt.
Ishita KapoorBaby Shower, Dehradun
I wanted to surprise my wife with her 50th birthday in Mussoorie, where we spent our honeymoon. Shrim found a small hill property with a terrace facing the valley, arranged for 45 friends to be driven up from Dehradun, and had a photographer ready to catch her face as she walked in. Worth every rupee, and every secret I had to keep.
