About Shrim Events

We're an event planning and management studio in Dehradun. For more than a decade we've planned weddings, corporate events and family celebrations across Uttarakhand and Delhi NCR, and anywhere else our clients want to be.
Our story
It started with one wedding in Dehradun
Shrim Events began the way many good things in Dehradun do: with a family wedding that needed more hands than the family had. Ritu took on the décor and the guest list, Tushar the vendors and the logistics. The wedding went well enough that the neighbours asked for their daughter's sangeet the following winter.
Twelve years on, the studio at RS Pratham in Defence Colony is home to planners, designers and a production crew who have handled more than 650 events. There have been mandaps overlooking the Doon valley, riverside sangeets in Rishikesh, leadership offsites in pine forests, launch nights in the city and birthday dinners in back gardens.
The name comes from श्री (shri): auspiciousness, grace and prosperity, the word written at the top of wedding cards and new account books alike. It's a reminder that every event is a beginning for someone. We try to treat it like one.
